I picked up 3 modeling drills for a little head to head. The drills consisted of Privateer Press - Modeling Drill and Pinning set [$12.99], Gale Force 9 - Modeling and Pinning System [$14.99] and Games Workshop - Hobby Drill [$15.00].

GW, GF9 & PP Modeling Drills
I bought the same one as the PP one at a hobby store for around $5. I believe it is from X-Acto. I find the handle comes loose if doing a lot of work with metal models. But it is otherwise terrific.
